Well I've been accepted into all of the colleges I've applied to for art...only problem is, I cannot afford any of them AFTER scholarships. You know what sucks the most...I have spent well over 5 years working hard developing my art so I can make it in life and become a great artist. A lot of the seniors at my art school have just started doing art THIS year. Why am I pissed? Because they do jack SHIT and get 10,000 + in scholarships from EACH school they got accepted into. And I, who have worked my ass off for soo long, have only gotten $6,000 at BEST. (U of the Arts at Philly retracted their $12,000 a year scholarship and are giving me nothing now) I have worked soo hard to become as good as I am, and people tell me my art is really good, I hear that from a bunch of people at art school and a lot of people from High School, yet the colleges and people who really matter all I have been hearing is 'your artwork sucks'. And it has gotten me into a funk where I just cannot function art wise anymore. I have no desire to draw, or paint, or sculpt, or anything. I'm just really fucking depressed from this...all this hard work seems to have been for nothing and I don't know what to do with myself anymore. |

Evan, I know you may not necessarily be reading this, but we're all posting our feelings anyway. You were a great person, and I'm kicking myself in the ass for not spending more time with you, and spending that time to the fullest. Loved you like a brother man, always have, and always will. You were always there to help out anyone and everyone in need, and your advice was always kickass. Although you wouldn't always let us help you, i think we all want you to know that even though it's too late, we were always ready to listen.
I'm not going to ask you why, you had your own reasons and you apparently felt about that quite adamantly. You woulda liked to see how many people showed up at Erika's tonight, but alas you could not.
I will say a prayer for you tonight, and I truly hope that you have found hapiness up above in heaven.
